Here is a list of things that have freaked me out in the past two days:
-My mother almost snow-blowing my father instead of snow.
-Accidentally, almost inviting Jen Moir to my BYOB, Harry Potter-themed birthday party.
-Dragging my cello up a three block, snow-covered hill because the wheels on my case broke.
-The fact that there's only one spot open in the studio that I want to get into at McGill next year.
-Extending my hand to get some soap from the dispenser in our downstairs bathroom only to discover that my mother had plastered it with labels reading "X POISON X."
-The volume of the phone in my room. The one that is two inches from my head when I sleep.
-Driving. On any street that hasn't yet been plowed.

If I ever - for some reason - need to torture Dan Wang, I will make him watch Tim Burton's version of Sweeney Todd. I have never ever in my life witnessed so much gratuitous throat slitting. Other than the excessive blood, though, I really liked it. (Despite some of the omissions...)
Quite honestly, though, if someone made a two hour film involving Johnny Depp watching paint dry, I would still, most likely, try to nominate it for an Oscar. So my opinion probably isn't worth much.

I had a dentist appointment on the 20th, and my teeth still feel all nice. Post-dentist teeth are awesome. (My new year's resolution is to floss. Every day. Okay my spell checker just tried to change that word to "flosss." WTF, gmail.) I think I have a particularly healthy set, because whenever my dentist finishes his inspection he also taps one of my front teeth in this really satisfied way and goes, "Bea-U-tiful."

I don't actually think I've ever made resolutions for new year's before. Okay:
-Improve Time Management and Not Being Late skills.
-Get into McGill (i.e. memorize your freaking pieces.)
-Floss regularly.
