Half of a mod post, half of me being irritating. Again.
Hello guys. Lemme just get straight to the point of this post:
Please DO NOT upload any Aitsu no Daihonmei chapters onto Mangafox, Manga Traders, Manga-whatever-other-online-existing-site-that-exists because this is Zodiac Translation's request, and we don't want them being uploaded randomly to other sites. This community complies with their request, and if this is failed, Zodiac Translations may...stop releasing? I dunno.
You may argue, "Why not? I think fans are allowed to share the joy with other fans!"
Of course we do! That's why this place is created. There are other ways to share by telling them that this community exists, and if they want to get it they should just pop by, get an account (takes less than 3 or 4 minutes) and join. Navigating around LJ may be a bit tough, but if you keep trying, you'll get what you've been looking for, ultimately. It's only a matter of whether you placed some effort into trying. And no, this isn't silly if you may be thinking that "it's only the internet so why should I put effort into trivial matters like this?" because it reflects your overall attitude towards how you treat other matters and other people in the future. The smallest details can cause a huge ripple effect to many things around you.
For this community I manage, because of its small fandom, joining is easy. This community is fairly cool with navigation (even things like FAQs) and there's even a downloads masterlist where you can find whatever you need. It may be a bit incomplete, but that's the resources we've gotten so far.
We try out best to provide you with what we can, hoping it reaches out to most fans of Tanaka Suzuki-sensei/Aitsu no Daihonmei so everyone can enjoy the scanlation together with others, and if possible, some of you may purchase the raws (tankoubon) as returning the favor for having read the scanlations.
For this, I think the very least a fan can do is to try to respect the rules of the scanlation team as thanks. If you've never spoken up to thank scanlation groups, that's fine. If you've never spoken up much, that's okay because we can't force you to, or because you don't feel comfortable - we understand. But the least people could do would be to place the request of the team in their mind and if they really want to share, just let others know of the existence of this community, and tell them to come here.
Finally, for those who are concerned about the possible removal of members, NO, I'm not going to be like certain communities purging members because I feel it's unfair as in the midst of this, lots of people who truly enjoy the work, and has never done anything will just become victims. For the internet, it's too hard to track who uploads (unless names are left behind) and too hard to control, so no, that will not happen.
...sorry for such a, um, strict and angry-sounding message. I'm not...really angry nor miffed, just wanted to make this message clear to all. I've been through this with JR before so I'm used to it. ^^;; Just speaking up for ZT for now. Thanks for listening!
