My first 'inviting all friends+family members to a nearly opened restaurant' event.
And it was lovely I guess. For those who don't know (aka everyone) the restaurant next door had been empty for quite a while because people never seemed to be able to get that good sales, been through 3-4 in my lifetime. Recently, someone decided to take a gamble and turn it into an Asian fusion restaurant...which meant I had to work there a bit as well. A few months later it's almost done, and quite a bit of it is totally different. Now it looks more modern instead of a rustic look it used to have, which really fits the style of cooking, which is modern fusion cooking. The food is nice, and I hope it'll last longer than the others...because if it doesn't, I'd have to work more cleaning up that place. >_>
On another note, because the upstairs area is a bar/drink area that serves tea/bubble tea/beer/drinks, I'm more terrified that I'll really end up like Irm from SRW 4/F and have my girlfriend (which will never happen for a long time) catch me having tea with one of her employees. Not like there'll ever be Black Hole Cannons or anything.
