Obligatory update?

Shit balls.

I'm supposed to go to the post office today, but I tried to update my iPod and now it's taking foooooreeeeeeveeeer.
It's my first time updating it, so I'm not even sure if it's supposed to take this long.

You know you're taking sculpture/ceramics class when:
You go home, and find clay in your bra.
You get brownie points from your teacher for bringing serrated knives for people to play with.
You start to not care if there is clay on your ass.
You start developing a supernatural kung fu grip.

For the past two weeks we've been working from a nude model.
The first question that comes up is always, "Is she hot?"
There was even one guy who started going into detail about how parts are sexier than a whole, and how our class should just do breasts or the pubic region.

Way to objectify life study dumbass.

Other than looking at a naked body for an hour and twenty minutes each day, I've been studying with Becky and Chris at the Study Hall in the dorms. It's been pretty fun, and I suspect would be more so if we didn't have an impending test...OF DOOOOOOM.
Apparently, it's offensive that I don't know latin roots.
:(

Hurry up iPod!!! I'm fucking hungry!!!

I'm going to LA in November and I'm actually really nervous about school and all of the responsibilities I'll be neglecting when I am away. I'm thinking of just asking for the first two weeks of December off so that I can catch up and on everything. But, that would be admitting defeat. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but I need to feel something in order to feel that life is not futile, or a meaningless routine--even if that feeling is stress.

I have yet to post a picture of my assemblage shoebax sculpture, but it's really not anything great.
I feel as if for every two steps forward, I take one step back.
And as of late, I also feel that every two steps forward involves a million redundant and probably unnecessary steps inbetween.
Somewhere out there someone is pulling some strings, enjoying my silly little dance.

Dance Dance Revolution apparently also is not a part of my vocabulary.
