Some volunteers, mainly parents, took it upon themselves to
redecorate the library at the Babler Elementary School in Wildwood, MO, in an effort to make it more appealing to the students. I didn't see anything in the story about where the funding came from, but that's just a curiosity for me and thus pretty trivial.
I love seeing parents get involved in helping schools out in educating kids, instead of using schools as glorified babysitters. Yes, I know those are two ends of the scale, and that most people fall in the middle. That's where I fall, too. But it's inspiring and heartwarming to see people working on the positive end.
