(no subject)
Last weekend, my bf and I decided that it was financially wasteful for him to pay for a character he never plays anymore, and with which I only play once in a while. Yesterday I looked through his inventory to start stripping the character. It was a bit sad. Good thing most of his gear are r/e, so if he decides to return in the future, gear will either be replaced or easily replaceable.
That got me thinking. The reason he quit less than a year ago was because he was just sick and tired of farming to pay for his ares cuirass. Without a high level craft, dedication to an hnm shell, gardening, bcnm/ksnm/isnm static, or anything conducive to make the farming process more enjoyable, the completion of the body piece just seemed completely unreachable.
With ff14 looming around the corner, and my playing time dwindling due to lack of effort, I compiled a list of goals that will be left unattained:
1. Cooking 98.9 to 100
2. All sub crafts to 60
3. Finish COP (I’m on three paths, and am hoping that the removal of level restriction in June will persuade possibly more ppl to help out those stuck in COP. I don’t know about others, but COP battles are way fun to me.)
4. Finish RDM group 2 merits. I only need 60k more limit points. But I just simply don’t have the time to pull for 3 hours straight. This is also because I can’t get merit pt’s as rdm anymore.. go figure.
5. Without COP to at least 8-1, I obviously cannot obtain my tamas ring or any other sea items. Notables will include:
a. Loquacious earring
b. Musical earring
c. Love torque
d. Altruistic cape (this is from sea… right?)
e. Brutal earring
6. Do salvage - no marduk legs for me
7. Rdm relic hat. Yeah whatever.
8. G hands. /sigh and other various nyzul dyzul items
9. Assault rewards (again, time issue and no static)
10. … I’ll add more when I think of it.
