Generic Update
I got a job! I work at the Albertson's in Lake Oswego on Sat/Sun during the school year and my training schedule starts tomorrow afternoon. I'm working in the customer service department and although I haven't done any work yet, the orientation thing I went to on Saturday is really making me look forward to working with Albertson's
I feel bad because my training schedule conflicts with the gonzaga debate tournament and so not only do I not get to go, but I feel as though I let my team down. Fortunately I will know other tournaments well in advance so it shant happen again!
The other downside about my job is that I won't be able to judge as much as I would like. I'll probably request time off only for tournaments run by Owen and Russell (tualatin if it doesn't conflict with Whitman, PSU, and OSDC) and possibly big tournaments depending on how the Tualatin team hashes out this year.
I need to start planning meeting and putting together lectures for the Tualatin kids so I can be organized for at least the beginning of the year.
Drew goes back to OSU this weekend.
School starts on the 24th and I am kind of nervous about my schedule. The more I think about it, the more I realize that it will suck.
