regardless of what I do, I will never gain muscle and lose weight! I always end up around 191 give or take 2 pounds.
good news is, these days, my herniated discs don't bother me, why?
1. I stopped working out and rested for 4 months
2. I pay attention at EVERY moment if something is straining my lower back muscles
3. I'd like to say I stretch my hams and gluts, but I don't, even though I should
4. I learned that my desk at home is actually TOO HIGH and needs to be lowered. It seems right, but I've since discovered that the key metric is the distance from the seat of the chair to the top of the desk, and also when it sits in that spot, whether or not your feet are flat on the floor.
5. I learn that having a laptop that I rotate my torso to is the MAIN issue. If I do that more than 15 minutes a day, the next day my back would really bother me.
all that being said, I played volleyball at the beach last week with Jason and was able to play without injuring myself. It was the first time I had actually played since the achilles blow.
Jason is in the midst of a relationship with a woman named Amanda. Although I believe she could be great for him, she suffers from two achilles heels: 1) an inability to forgive, 2) always expecting the worst, and believing it to be true - regardless of whether or not you can show her its not true. Finally, I'm really skeptical of her, because, I had a heart to heart conversation with her, where I truly learned more about who she is, and then three days later she sent emails to Jason that were so hateful, after he had dropped some flowers, that I just find her hard to believe now.
That's all for now, I am working at Union on Laszlo and Vilmos. I will return to The Narrows in two days.
