The Meddler's Affair (HP, Harry/Ginny, Ron/Hermione)
Heeee~ my first screenplay. I don't think this is too good, it's kind of just a pointless OBHWF fluff piece.

Notes: Written for first weekly summer challenge over at the_circlet. (Challenge was to write a screenplay.) For those who don’t know, a V.O. (voice-over) next to the character’s name denotes a narration (the character is in the scene but acting as a narrator), or if the character is speaking while not in the scene. And INT is the abbreviation for interior while EXT. is the abbreviation for exterior.
INT. BEDROOM- NIGHT
The room is dark, but there’s enough light from the streetlamp outside to plainly see two silhouettes on the bed. The two figures aren’t asleep, only facing each other on their sides, blinking in the dark. RON WEASLEY, 24, a man with flaming red hair, and freckles adorning his face, lies on top of the covers in his boxers. HERMIONE GRANGER, 24, a woman with wild brown hair, and warm brown eyes like chocolate, lies next to him in her floral nightgown, her hand atop his on the bedspread, fingertips trailing softly up and down.
They were quiet for the moment, enjoying the silence, and each other’s company. Just hours before, they had a big dinner party for their engagement. It was a happy affair, one with good food, drinks, and merriment amongst friends and family.
All things considered, the night should’ve ended quite joyously except there was one big thing troubling the young couple (well, okay, one big thing troubling HERMIONE).
Weeks earlier, when they had planned this dinner party, they had done so with the plan in mind to bring another couple together. This couple consisted of one GINNY WEASLEY, and HARRY POTTER. The night proved a gigantic disappointment, however.
HERMIONE
I can’t believe how big of a dolt Harry is being. Do you know that the entire time he didn’t talk to Ginny once? Well, except when he first came through the door and had to say the cursory hello to her, that is.
RON
(sleepily)
Oh, Hermione, can’t you let it go? You’ve tried bringing them back together and it just blew up in your face. Time to move on and forget about it. If they want to get back together, they will.
HERMIONE
But they won’t EVER get back together again if someone doesn’t push them in the right direction.
RON (V.O)
Don’t get me wrong, I love Hermione, but she is possibly the biggest meddler I have ever encountered in my life. As for me, I didn’t really want to get involved in the romantic affairs of my BEST friend and my SISTER, but once you got engaged, you weren’t yourself anymore, you became a part of your wife-to-be and whatever she did you had to do by extension. So, yes, I was getting dragged into setting up my sister with my best mate. Again. Bollocks.
HERMIONE
(stopping her fingertips from trailing on the back of her fiancée’s hand)
Don’t you want them to be as happy as we are?
RON
The eternal question, ain’t it?
HERMIONE
(punches him on the shoulder)
Ron, this isn’t funny.
RON
(seriously)
I don’t think so either!
HERMIONE
Well, what do you propose we do?
RON
(lifting himself off the bed, and covering Hermione’s body with his own)
Well, I propose that we get practicing for our honeymoon, if that’s all right with you, Ms. Granger, soon to be Mrs. Ron Weasley.
HERMIONE beams at him, and he starts kissing her hungrily, his hands tangled in her hair, and hers resting delicately at his hips.
INT. ANOTHER BEDROOM- NIGHT
The clothes are scattered on the floor throughout the apartment, the bedroom door opened to reveal two figures on the bed, covered with the dark blue comforter. HARRY POTTER, 24, a man with a scar on his forehead, and unruly dark hair has his arms wrapped around one GINNY WEASLEY, 23, with flaming red hair and freckles on her face.
GINNY
(thoughtfully)
Do you think we should tell them that we’re back together all ready?
HARRY
Nah. Besides, you’d think the smartest witch of her age would figure that out by now.
GINNY
Well, you know it’s only because we do such a very good job of pretending that we’re not together.
HARRY
I think we shouldn’t let Hermione out of the dark just yet, I think she really does love playing matchmaker.
GINNY nods her head in acknowledgment, and goes to turn off the bedside lamp. They kiss chastely and say goodnight. And the night ends with two exceedingly happy couples, as it should be.
