Abortion: Ryan an' Bee brought up some good points, it's not really something I think about too much, but yeah, adoption instead is a great option. I still think that, If you've been raped, and there is absolutely no way you can support a baby, or live through birth, you should have the option of abortion. But, if you just don't want to use a condom, that's your fault.
Gay Marriage: You should be able to love who you want. If Christians have a problem, they should learn to deal with it. Most people in America MAY be Christians, but that doesn't make this country a theocracy. But, if you do choose a same sex Marriage, don't say you're Christian.
Political Parties: no comment...
School system: School systems are truly messed up. For example, if someone has an "A" average, but stresses out on tests, and does badly, since tests count for sooo much, they will most likely fail. I just think they should count for less.
"But, if you do choose a same sex Marriage, don't say you're Christian."
Hold up.
Now, I'm not exactly sure what you meant there, but I had no idea Christians couldn't be homosexual (or bisexual...) as well. For crying out loud, people, some bible characters were homosexual! Why is love a sin? I've been told there's a passage in there somewhere about homosexuality, but until I find it, I'm sticking to what I know.
And, in the event that it is indeed considered a "sin" to be in love with someone, and want to spend the rest of your life with them, then doesn't God forgive sins? Or is it that God forgives adultry, one of the Ten Commandments, but doesn't forgive homosexuality??
and the bible characters that WERE homosexual, were technically villians to the story.
king something or another was his name, and he commited lots of sins one of which was him being bisexual.
and if you KNOW waht your doing then it shouldn't be forgiven that easily, thats like saying that im gonna go have sex b/c i already know im gonna be forgiven for it.

Re: half right..anime_sammy05June 30 2006, 03:00:17 UTC
I have no problem with love, but still, it's against the Bible. though, the bible may have deleted 18 years of Jesus life, when he tried new religions, and may or may not have a passage about homosexual love, those are the rules, People follow them, no matter how wrong or right it may be.
Okay, I don't think I made a very clear point... I do not, in any way, shape, or form, consider homosexuality a sin. If it says so in the bible, then so be it. I suppose I am questioning the bible, then. I choose to follow God in my own way, without being told how to be a Christian...
