Today at work was pretty cool. Really relaxed and stuffs, and we got props for doing a good job on all our cars and whatnot. That's always good. It was also payday, so that makes things great even if they're bad. :)
Tonight Joanne and I took Leslie (our manager at OfficeMax) to the airport. She's moving back home, so told her we'd drive her and stuffs so we could say goodbye and whatnot. And also so she wouldn't have to have her ex fiance take her. So we sat around and talked and waited for her flight to start boarding. Chatted about the old times, and gossiped about people we work with, now that she's not our manager anymore, she could parttake and not have to worry about it coming back to bite her in the ass. :)
So she boarded at 10pm and is just about an hour into her flight now. It's gonna kinda blow with her not being there. I was really getting to like her. Plus the fact that she called me sweety all the time kinda perked up my day. ;)
Anyways, Joanne brought me home and we chatted for a bit. More about work, and the new manager, and then on to more important things. Like dating and seeing people and stuffs. She seemed pretty interested as to whether or not I was interested in dating any time soon. Which of course I am. It's been a loooong time for me. But I've changed the way I feel about dating. So we talked about that a bit, and I think she likes me. ;) Well, she didn't come straight out and say it. But she said she hopes we can become really good friends and hang out a lot more. And that we should go out to like dinner and a movie sometime. Actually, she mentioned this traveling theatre troupe was in town, and she'd like to go see that. But it costs like 100$ a ticket, for a dinner and the play thing. Plus you have to dress up, and like big time dress up, not just nice pants and shirt. So we'll have to see about that. I'm almost willing to do it, just because she sounded so excited about it. :P We'll have to see how finances are I guess. I'm such a suck sometimes. :P
Bummer she still had to go to work tonight. I could have deffinently seen myself just wanting to make her laugh all night. Telling her stories and just getting to know her better. Mebbe someday. :)
Anyways, it's getting on in the evening, I should prolly get to bed. :)
