Stumbled across this this evening. Is the first 1000 words of a short story I'd started writing with my little secret Detective Conan OTP in mind. Figured it had sat unshared long enough. (I'll finish it at some point, I'm sure, just... not quite now.)

I really liked the theme of being tied down. All the things that Eisuke thought of as chains in contrast to the red thread of love that didn't feel cliche here at all but came across more as a guide, like that mythology with the thread in the maze :D I hope Eisuke writes to Ran after this~
The fic cover tho! lolol I know it's probably a "missing" poster but after seeing all the One Piece "wanted" posters in Japan, I couldn't help but imagine Ran putting up a "wanted" poster. xd"
Damn right I skipped those details, it would have been boring! Kogoro going to the school then to the address, than to the landowner, then the guardian's last address and so on so forth... No wonder he's annoyed. XD
I'm glad the red thread didn't come across as cliché. :D So often I'll see it used and it just seems so superstitious and random (mostly because it's not a thing in my culture as far as I know) and cheesy, so to get that in subtly was nice~.
You bet he's got to write after this. >D Go Eisuke, go!
Lol re:fic cover. Found this old fanart and thought it oddly appropriate. Missing or Wanted, either way it works. ;D
