Repoed part duex
I went back down to the place that is holding Sarah's Sunfire before this morning. The only thing I got done was getting thrown out of their office and them threatening to call the cops. Then me calling the cops first just to thumb my nose at them.
Fucking morons. After throwing me out, threatening to call the cops, and them having me call the cops for them. (Maybe they realized at this point that I am fearless.) They then let Sarah access the Sunfire.
Basically when I was in the office, I walked in and asked for the lady I spoke with yesterday. While I was talking to her and she was bring up my email, some dude came out of the back told me nothing happened and proceeded to escort me out the door. When Sarah went in this assclown told Sarah he was having me arrested for disturbing the peace and that without a video of the repo, I had nothing.
I find that funny, because I would expect that from somebody so stupid to think most people are scared and in shock over having their car repoed, that they don't bother to realize that they still have rights. I would expect the repo place to do everything to make me think I have no legal recourse. However I know differently. I'm waiting on my lawyer to call me back.
So far my choices appear to be, calling my car insurance company and turning them loose on the repo company & their insurance company, contacting my home owners insurance and turning them loose on said companies, either having my lawyer either settle this or refer me to another attorney that can handle this, or contacting the repo companies insurance company directally. I'm sure the repo company would love to have their insurance company sniffing around though their activities for about a week or so.
Speaking of the repo companies insurance carrier. They refused to give me that information over the phone yesterday. A quick google search found their website, and looking around they list their insurance carrier and the amount they carry. Another quick google search found the website of their insurance carrier with a big old link on their main page to "submit a claim".
What's really great is that I took all kinds of pictures with measurements and I think I have them by the ass. But what else also sucks for them is the driver's offical log stated he drove through my yard. That's gonna piss my neighbors off, because my property ends at the driveway, and all of the grass next to it does not belong to me.
In the end it will probably cost them more to deal with my pissed off neighbors than it would have cost to repaint my front bumper. Basically, the repo company is screwed if they do, and screwed if they don't.
