This is the former Pizza Hut.  They put up fake brick molding on the outer walls, and re-painted the roof green.  It still looks like a Pizza Hut on the outside.  Inside, they must have gutted the place to the walls.  It was completely different.  Generic restaurant, not Japanese.  A friend of mine said the place won't be here come Christmas, because it's Chinese folk trying to run a Japanese restaurant instead of another Chinese restaurant.  Our waitress was definitely Asian-American, but I would have guessed Japanese rather than Chinsese.  We started with hot tea, apparently free.  The Yelp page says full bar, but the sign on the door says BYOB until they get their liquor license.  I ordered the Shrimp Habatchi dinner.  My wife ordered a sushi plate.  My dinner came with onion soup and ginger salad.  My wife ordered miso soup and seaweed salad.  We have a macro dieter in the family, so my wife is a little more knowledgeable about edible seaweed than the average person.  Apparently, also more knowledgeable than the waitress.  "What kind of seaweed do you have in your soup?"  "Um, green?"  The onion soup was very thin, barely above hot, flavored water.  The miso soup was better.  On the other hand, I fared better with the salad.  The ginger salad was a standard restaurant salad.  The seaweed salad was not very good.  The shrimp habatchi was decent, but not spectacular.  My wife enjoyed the sushi.   I've had some experience with martial arts and I know that real Japanese cooking is rice, steamed veggies and fish.    I consider 'Japanese Steakhouse' to be an oxymoron.  I also think most of them are over-priced.  Interestingly, the Yelp reviews were all five star while Bizapedia reviews panned it.  We probably won't be eating here too often.
