Yesterday was another phone bank night. We were calling Ohio voters. Good news, the Texas Voter ID law has been overturned as unconstitutional. This will hopefully make it easier to overturn all the others as well. The state-level leader is still trying to pad her resume. She wants the local-level leader to throw a DNC Watching party at her house. Um, we're working class. We have to get up in the AM, so Kate (local-leader) has decided to throw a Virtual DNC Watching party. She's going to use the website to create a party, send out invites to all of us and we're all going to accept and then not show. This way it LOOKS like there was a party. What can I say, politics!
There's nothing like finishing off the Friday before a holiday weekend by making a break-thru on one of your boss's pet projects three weeks before your annual work review. Am I lucky, or what? Since a lot of code will now have to be re-written, I've just guaranteed I have something to do for the next several weeks when everything else is slow.
