All is fine if the cat has a mild interest in the backyard. When I got home I noticed him staring and making small noises - usually this means a squirrel or another friend for him to not play with. He meows in short 'barks' when there are birds outside the window.
A few minutes later, he is still interested in backyard but still somewhat quiet. So I get up on a chair to look out the window and, sure enough, there is something unusual. Dead rat. *shudder*
SO the landlords took care of the dead rat. I told them NOT to throw it, to just bury it please, and "no, thank you" NOT in the garden. *eyeroll* MEN!
Now there are probably dozens or ants and other flying critters wondering where their treasure is. I say let them look elsewhere.
ICK ICK ICK!!! It's odd that, even though I touched NOTHING In the backyard with my fingers (except the gate) I feel this urge to wash them more than once. More than twice actually because I want to wash them again after thinking about it now. *shudder*
garden,
