The money thing annoys me. It's not my money and I don't even know this woman but when people live so close to their means and waste money they get buying frivolous things, it makes me twitchy. She has two kids to take care of and instead of putting that money away to help her get through the obvious tough times that are ahead of her, she blew it on non-necessities. You know why? People will bail out a single mother with two children. People will take pity on them and make sure they have a place to stay and don't starve. Plus, her kids will like her more for the fun stuff than the putting food on the table part. She isn't worried about how to pay the next set of bills she gets; she's worried about whether her kids like her or not. Ugh. I could rant about this behavior all day. ALL day. I'm sure I have before. I'm sure you've heard it before. AHHHHHHH...
Ok. It's out of my system. Maybe I'll make some vague FB posts about being responsible for money that'll make me feel better. LOL.
Elise, your trip sounds fantastic, although quite the adventure with transportation. I do love Southwest, though. :)
