Not too much going on right now. Just sitting here drinking coffee and watching Blast from the Past. I love this movie. Anyway, I've been playing Sims2 Seasons. I must say, I am very impressed with this expansion. I mean, in my opinion, the Sims games should have had all the seasons to begin with...but it's been worth the wait. However, I was not as impressed with the Sims Lifestories. It gives you like...no room in the storyline. And I probably wouldn't have issues with it, except I've been spoiled by Sims 2, with all the expansions and choices. *shrug* The redeeming part of Sims Lifestories though, is that you can play it on a laptop. So I may install it on the laptop I use in the living room, so I can play during the day when Keira is watching cartoons.
Travis bought me an Ab Lounge last night. I had ordered a treadmill a few weeks back. But when it came, it turns out it was a manual treadmill, not motorized. Ok. Travis put it together for me, and I tried it. Damn near broke my neck. So I had him disassemble it, and called the company. They're supposed to have Fed Ex call me with a pick up time, but havent yet. So I need to call them back today and complain. So, anyway, Travis knew I was looking to get some sort of exercise equipment, and saw the ab lounge. I had told him I'd be willing to use anything except an exercise bike. I have no problem being in pain from working out...as long as it's the area being worked out. A few minutes of being on a bike would just be too hard on my ass. Pointless pain, is what I call it, lol.
I had my hair cut last week. My hair was about a half inch above my rear. And I went to the salon and had it chopped off. Travis wasn't happy. But it's my hair, and I figure...what's the point in having long hair if you keep it constantly up in a poni-tale or a clip? And when I say constantly, I mean...literally ALL the time. From the moment I wake up til the moment I go to bed. Otherwise it would drive me nuts. It was just easier to keep it up. And I hated having to do that. So, pfft it's gone. My hair is about an inch past my chin. I also had my bangs cut and styled. They'd been as long as the rest of my hair. I hadn't had bangs in YEARS. It feels GREAT! And I've gotten so many compliments on it. Travis will get used to it...or not. Whatever. I have to say, I adore my hair dresser. She is great. We talked non-stop when I went last week. I've decided to see only her when I go to that salon. I like the other hair dressers, but I didn't feel as comfortable with them as I did her.
Well, I think that's it for now. TTFN :>
