I just realized that I still have to buy a ton of Christmas presents for the Northeasterners who bought me presents... damn. If I wasn't sick right now, I'd go out and shop.
Laura and I decided to take a walk at about 11 last night, and we realized that it was a big mistake. This homeless girl asked me for $3, but I only had a $5, so I gave that to her. We didn't even get five steps forward before another homeless person got to us. This guy asked Laura if she had a dollar bill for four quarters, and Laura pulled out a ten because that was the smallest bill she had. I don't know whether she gave it to him or he took it from her, but somehow he got ahold of it and was looking in his pockets saying something like, "I just need $15 for the hotel" or something like that. Then, I gave him $5 because he asked if we had any money, and frankly I was afraid for my life. Then, he continued to look for our change, but I knew he didn't really plan on getting it for us, so I said, "we're all set." So Laura and I were each out $10 and then I realized I had like $500 in my wallet, so I asked Laura if we could stop at the Fleet atm to deposit some money. When we went in, there was a homeless guy sleeping in the atm! He woke up as we entered, and I remembered hearing from public safety officers here at Northeastern that you have to look out for homeless people in the atms, so I said to Laura, "alright, let's go." Fucking sketchy Boston homeless people swindling us out of our hard earned money.
Adam, my awesome room mate, is back in the dorm now, and we're playing with our new camera's. Thanks to Laura for being our photographic subject :-D Ok bye now.
