service, good food, and itunes
went out all day and ate lots of good food. had my study this morning. jehovah has blessed me and answered my prayer for a progressive bible study. and i also have to thank rowena who introduced me to li ping. she is so sheeplike. even though things in her life are in a small crisis she is still there, and willing to focus and learn, and even put up with my stuggling chinese bad accent self. and she's going to the memorial! and she's going to come to our sunday morning bookstudy! and we get to take her shopping at the chinese market afterwards, and she can show me how to cook real chinese food.
got good news today. su, the sister from beijing will hopefully be staying with us for a while. that is if she doesn't mind our cat. she knows no english. so she can help us practice our chinese and we can cook her all kinds of good food. i'll be honest. she intimidates me. not her really, but the way we can hardly communicate. i'm not that good at conversation to begin with, but then trying to do it in my broken chinese is even worse. i should look on her as my mom. she has a daughter back in beijing who is exactly my age. i hope to meet her one day -- although she's not in the truth.
i have a gift card from itunes. i just don't know what to use it on. there is so much i want its hard to pick. i'm trying desperately to download all my cds to my computer then to my ipod. that way i don't have to take any cds to china. just my cute little ipod.
