In other happenings, my "gay friend theo" and I went to go pick up my wedding dress, as I didn't want to go and do something that momentus alone, and Michael was already gone. Its PRETTY! Now I've got to pick up the veil on Saturday, I've got the shoes, and my hair is getting its last "god ive got roots and crap" taken care of on Wednesday. We're really getting down to the wire eh? The last invitations are getting sent out on Monday, so if you think you should be getting one and you haven't, its probably going to be in the mail monday!
Memoirs of a Geisha is, I think, now one of my favorite movies. From all that I've read and studied about Geisha's, it seems VERY accurate, and in a way thats scary. The epitome of femininity, but tempered steel, and so many levels, from street strumpet to haute coture, using appeal just for pure, unsexual (in a way) acting, appreciation of beauty. Mind boggling.
Nothing else really, just had a good day at work *coughcough* yesterday, much entertainment was had, and then a great evening watching the movie. Needed an uberrelaxing evening, those seem to be hard to find these days.
