Two From Galilee
Two From Galilee is shaping up to be a really good Ripple. Having a blast working with everyone. And guess what? After tonight (where i did some greeting, setup, misc stuff) I'm getting upgraded to playing sound stuff. Should be much more fun. Actually I love it no matter what I do. Its nice to be a part of something. The most entertaining part of the evening: Sitting up in the booth with Tom and Tony. Tom signals me over, says Tony's really tense, been sick or something. Give the man a shoulder rub. Dang. 45min of that will KILL your hands, trust me there. But apparently his back/shoulders were spasming a ton, lol. I was so freaking sore after that. But I got one too, so its mildly ok now. ;-) Everyone should come and see the show at some point, there is a 3 and a 7pm tomorrow, and next weekend there is a Friday at 7 and Saturday again at 3 and 7pm. Its $5 to get in down at Tennessee Temple. Yeah the venue could be better, but the script is hilarious and good, actors are good, and everything is actually (knocking on wood) going rather well.
And the other thing going on in my life. Jaime has asked me to be his co-director for SonRise. The whole bloody thing. And of course, being me, I accepted. He is a blast to work with. Some MAJOR changes this year, some i've been fighting for this year. And the resurrection scene is going to have .... *drumroll* .... an entirely new set. Its amazing. Will totally open up the scene and look 100x better. Right now we are still doing auditions through next week. Hate that part. Hard to say nice things a lot of the time, and hard to be hard on your friends even when you know they suck in some cases. All part of it though and i love it to death.
Overall having a pretty fair amount of fun with life, work is going ok too i guess. Some annoying stuff there that I completely hate, but one never knows what to do about it, and really there isn't anything TO do about it! *sigh* Ach, thankfully I have other things to do so that i can get out and do stuff I love, not that i dont love the barn, but its gone from my haven to my torture place lol so its great to have places I can go to take a break, refocus, and have some serious fun.
