Cold + Mud + Horses = sick sick marisa.
Marisa does NOT like feeling sick. In fact, no pun intended, i am sick of being sick! Darn kids still coming to lessons with the flu and/or strep and everything else. yes i like when they show dedication, i just DONT like it when it gets me sick too! But of course that might have had something to do with working at the barn in shorts on monday night because tara left the horses in and got me out of bed to muck and turn out, so i went in my pj's. Mud is deep. Like over the knee deep in places. Cleaining off in the hose is also a bad idea, but you just cant go get a movie at blockbuster looking like a mud monster. At least leaving muddy foot prints. Most of the rest of me was still muddy. On the upside, Two for the Money is a great movie. Truly loved it. Matthew McConahay or however you spell his name lol is friggen awesome, shirtless and working out for a fair bit of the movie. Great plot too :D
Luke updates: He is actually doing pretty well for me not being able to ride. We are doing a lot of work on lunging and ground manners. Also, treats are a great motivator. He is almost to the point where you say "Take a bow" and he does. Still need the treats about 50% of the time. Also he's learning to "model" for photos and for some classes in hand. We'll be showing him starting next month in hunter breeding for the first half of the season and get back to riding when my arm is better (thinking 3 mo or so till its all good?). Thankfully my friend Liz, who ROCKS, will be riding him for me starting soon, so he'll at least be in work.
Thats about all i have right now, still hurts like heck to type without the brace, and i cant really type with it, so its rather a lose-lose situation! And heck, i have to go run errands and stuff. Yeck.
