Too Much Jung Yonghwa

Jun 15, 2012 12:21

Seohyun finally caught a break. Endless appearances at shows and public events definitely took a toll on SNSD's -- and TaeTiSeo's --  maknae. The three of them finally have taken a break from all of the promotions for their first album. It's the first time in days since Seohyun has woken up later than six in the morning. She woke up extra cheerful and energized. After a quick morning greeting to her roommate Hyoyeon, she rushed to take a shower. She soon broke out to sing CNBLUE's "Intuition". Yuri, who was brushing her teeth half-awake that time, hushed her. "Yah! It's still so early, so please stop singing that song now," she drowsily complained.

Seohyun's head popped out of the shower, bubbles were scattered on her wet hair. "Waeyo?" she innocently asked.
Yuri only managed to let out a shrug. "Shincha, it's too early! Besides, it's been more than a year since that song came out, and you're still singing it..." she whispered to herself. Seohyun didn't understand her mumbling words, and went on to finish taking a bath and singing the entire song.

After a quick change into comfortable clothes, Seohyun soon found herself in the dorm's kitchen. Hyoyeon and Sunny have already left for their Invincible Youth shooting. Yoona is hardly around due to Love Rain: she's been doing interviews and appearances on various shows for the promotion of her drama. She co-stars with Jang Geunsuk, who starred in You're Beautiful alongside Park Shinhye, Lee Hongki and Jung Yonghwa.

Jung Yonghwa.

She wasn't able to notice that the ma concoction that she makes every morning is already done. She kept on blending the already gooey drink. Tiffany just came out of her room, and saw her dongsaeng out of it. Again.

"Joohyunie," she started.
"Ne, unnie?" Seohyun answered back, looking at her.
Tiffany smiled. "You're thinking of Shinwoonie again, aren't you?"
She blushed, got clumsy, and spilled ma juice all over the kitchen counter.

Tiffany couldn't help but laugh. Taeyeon and Sooyoung soon popped out of their rooms and saw the mess Seohyun has caused. They were puzzled.

"Seohyun ah," Sooyoung said with a hint of concern in her voice. "You seem to be out of it lately."
The kid leader nodded in agreement. "It's really a good thing that your performances don't get affected by whatever it is that's been sending your brain into overdrive."
Tiffany giggled. "Taeyeonnie, it's not what. It's who."
Soon, all of them were smiling goofily at Seohyun, who was still cleaning the mess she caused. Seohyun pouted.
Sooyoung pointed at her lips. "Oh! The Flying Duck!"

Seohyun totally lost it, and chased the three laughing women around the dorm, carrying the cloth damp with ma.

It was a fun chase, but soon Sooyoung had to leave to meet with her parents, and the other two that compose TaeTiSeo took a nap in their rooms. Seohyun doesn't feel sleepy at all, despite sleeping late last night. With nothing better to do, she turned on the TV and decided to watch a film. She channel-surfed until it reached Star Movies. It was playing How to Train Your Dragon.

How to Train Your Dragon. The film was about dragons and people living in harmony. The lead character was a shy and hesitant boy who soon became confident and outspoken due to his dragon friend.

Dragon.
Dragon in Korean is Yong.
Yong.
Jung Yonghwa.

"AH SHINCHA!" Seohyun shouted in exasperation. Even she gets tired of herself at times. A film about a dragon almost immediately connects to Jung Yonghwa in her mind. The same thing happens when she tried watching a film she enjoyed a lot before, Eragon.

After a desperate yet futile attempt to find a good movie (the last channel she saw before she turned it off was showing Godzilla, which to her looked like a hybrid of a dinosaur and of a dragon), she zoomed back to her room to reread a book that she has already finished reading. She browsed through her gallery of books, and she suddenly found a notebook in the middle of two books, Nobody Will Live Your Life For You and the biography of Ban Kimoon. She was curious as to what this small notebook is about. She turned the page, and she immediately laughed out loud. She was greeted by a photo of a pouting Yonghwa

It was the photo notebook that Yonghwa made for her when he lost her note of resolution. Yonghwa painstakingly crafted the simple yet cute and heartwarming book for her. She kept on smiling as she flipped the pages. Stuck in between the pages of the notebook was the reply that Yonghwa wrote for her letter of resolution. Her smile reached her ears as she read it once again. Before she knew it, she was searching for their couple items: the socks, the cup that is in the kitchen, the the 2000 won ring, the silver ring, and the humongous bear. She held on to the bear and the dog that she bought with him on their last night as a married couple. She hugged it, and sniffed it, as if she wanted to drain it of its scent. Yonghwa's scent has been long gone, but it reminded her of him. Hyoyeon soon returned from work and caught her hugging the bear, smiling senseless.

Seohyun finally snapped out of it when Hyoyeon cleared her throat.
She cannot explain the sight that she was caught in: wearing the sleep socks, the cat cup on her lap, the stuffed dog was on one hand, the bear was on the other. She was wearing both couple rings. She even wore the butterfly necklace unconsciously.
"Ah, unnie, this is not what it seems, this is just..." Seohyun tried to explain.
Hyoyeon just smiled.
"You know, Seohyun," she began.
Seohyun was nervous. She soon began touching her hair.
"There is such a thing as too much Jung Yonghwa."

The day is almost over.
She has to sleep early because they have to begin promoting Paparazzi soon, but she can't sleep.
She thought on how to make herself sleep.
She thought and thought. Finally, she smiled, and reached for her phone.

She texted:

Oppa, good job on the song with Juniel. ^^

After a minute came the reply:

Shincha, Hyun, the song's been released for quite some time, and it's only now that you text me that I did a good job. Ah, jeongmal, Hyun. :(

A barrage of messages soon followed. Both were uncertain whether to call the other or not.

Miahneyo, Oppa. It's just that I've been too busy with Twinkle that I wasn't able to notice your activities lately.

Haha, if that's the case, then it's okay. By the way, you did a good job with Twinkle! Congratulations!

Ah, thank you Oppa. You did good with Juniel too.

Ah, yes. Hyun, do you know that people say that I look good with Juniel? HAHA meroooooong~ ^^

Seohyun let out a loud laugh.
"Ah, cham. Choding."
She texted a reply.

Haha, is that so? Yeah, you two look good. Oh, by the way, I'm meeting with Jungmo oppa tomorrow so that he can teach me new songs to play with my PINK guitar. ^^ :P

Somewhere, a male shouted at his phone in exasperation and joy with what Seohyun sent to him.

There is such a thing as too much Jung Yonghwa. But it's not like she hates it, though.

A/N: This is my fic for uri YongSeo's 850th day! Yes, I know it's late, but better be late than never, right? HAHA. And it's been more than 850 days, but here we still are, gogumas. Cheers for us!

Oh, if in case you are wondering if this is connected to The Way She Works in the Kitchen is Magic, yes, you are right. HAHA
