After reading everyone else's angry posts

If you should happen to want to comment on one of my entries and click on the “crosspost to FaceBook” option, it will result in me receiving your comment twice: once from FaceBook and once from LiveJournal, as I already make a practice of having my LiveJournal posts also show up on FaceBook.

What, are people pissed off about Facebook integration? Seems like it'd be useful.

The trollfaces at LiveJournal included a feature to let you copy comments to Facebook. If it's someone else's article and they don't use that feature, it just copies and pastes the original article to your facebook feed. Even if it's friends-locked.

I believe the lesson here is, "If you don't want it on the internet, don't put it on the goddamned internet." Posting anything, even a "private" or "locked" post so that others can read it isn't the best way to keep private stuff private.
