Two cold days of weather, and my wrists aren't hurting so bad. I hear that it's suppsed to get warm again (in the fifties) this afternoon, so I figured I'd update before yet another temperature fluctuation

Hmm. It's not bad, but it takes a bit to get to the dragon part. And, it's very descriptive about the scenery and stuff, which some people like, but I don't. I want the meat, the plot, the scandel, the story. My brain makes up the setting as I read...and having it described to me makes it harder for me to get into the story.
Also, I'm reading it aloud to Morgan, which seems so slow. I read VERY quickly (I finish 2000 page books in less than two days, normally) but outloud, I stutter if I don't take my time. And, it's like my mind races ahead a line or two, and I skip words, so it's very tedious.
But, Morgan LOVES it. *nods* He really really likes it. A lot. *giggles* He wants me to hurry up, so I can read him the sequel, Eldar.
Aout The Rising, yes. The lady I borrowed all the left behind books from has that series, too. She actually brought me that book lastnight at work to read, which was quite humerous, being as you mentioned it here. I'm about sixty pages in, and while it's a little dry, I know when it gets good, it'll be awesome.
