Who needs a coupon
I went along with two of my classmates to Quiznos for lunch and lamented the fact that I had neglected to print out a coupon before leaving. There were two new kinds of Sammies, but I also wanted one I knew I liked, so I got three. There's a combo for $5.99 with two Sammies, a regular drink, and chips. When it was my turn to pay, the guy said "Sammy Meal and an extra?" I confirmed, "Sammy Meal and an extra." He said, "$6.38," and very shortly paused over the regular size cup before giving me a large instead. So, for whatever reason, I got the hookup. I got a free Sammy (worth $2), and an upgraded cup. Who needed that coupon? Thanks Quiznos cashier dude!
Addendum: Maybe I got a better deal than I thought? I looked at my receipt and the area that normally shows your card number and authorization code were blank. I'm curious to see if this shows up on my credit card statement at all.
