Here's a few photos from the FIEA Alumni 100 Halloween Party held at Ben Noel's house. (Former COO of EA Tiburon.) His house was in the rich, but horribly labyrinthine forest area in Winter Park. Our caravan got so incredibly lost and had to make several U-turns in the tiny roads. Fun times getting lost on tiny, cobblestone roads...
These are all classmates' photos; I've yet to download my pics from my camera. Yeah, lazy. Lazy and busy.
Several of us went as the Red Team from Team Fortress 2. You'll see me all the way to the left as the Pyro (behind the mask).
And here's a single shot of me with most of my chest/back gear taken off, unfortunately.
And then one of our classmates welded together a Big Daddy costume from BioShock. That's his roommate in the costume, and another one of us as a Lil Sis. The helmet/tank on his back were too big to fit through a standard door, either sideways or forward. Fortunately Ben has several sets of double-doors. (Man, have I got to show you the ridiculously cool ceiling fan he had!) The drill actually spins, and they had sound and lighting rigged up for maximum effect. Unfortunately, they neglected to install some fans, so it got hot and foggy inside.
Since there was only snacks and drinks at the party, a lot of us ditched and went to Denny's. It turned out that the previous cohort (all dressed as Cobra members!) were coming, too. So we had a party of 29. Future note: wearing masks into Denny's scares management (see: robberies). There was a cop who pulled her car right up to the entrance just in case of any shenanigans.
