Britney Spears versus Backstreet Boys versus Avenged Sevenfold (and others) next Tuesday. It's a battle on the scale of Fiddy versus Kanye! Hmm...one of these things is not like the other.
Anyway... What you need to know is Brit-Brit's "Heaven on Earth." I think it's a winner.
Remember when everyone was complaining that pop music was too manufactured and over-produced? If anything, that's what makes Britney's album "Blackout." It's a straight-up club record with so much layering of samples and effects, that the songs are about the sound and the way it moves your body. It's a good thing that her voice gets lost in the electronica, because it sure isn't doing well these days.
A7X is nice and theatric. I didn't download Backstreet. Call me if *NSYNC drops a new one.
