Carls Mini Game Review: Beautiful Katamari

Beautiful Katamari
Xbox 360

Thankfully still a budget price at $40. Though it feels a bit odd switching to an off-set pair of analog sticks rather than the side-by-side pair on a Sony DualShock, the dash is a lot more comfortable to pull off. Game's just as addictive as ever, though it feels harder. I had to replay several levels multiple times before succeeding, and there's a new scoring system which seems difficult to please. As for improvements from moving to next-gen hardware, they are readily evident during training level, whose surprise I don't want to ruin for you. You'll also see it a new depth of field effect. Unfortunately, there aren't very many WTF story sequences.

That said, buy it!
