Floors and Walls - "What Can We Do Today"
I think it could be big. Rap-rock with great pop sensibilities, a touch of a brit accent, and many songs remain dancable without being reduced to lyrically-barren drivel we deal with on the US pop charts. Hmm... That being said, maybe they won't become big. (For the sound, think less aggro/Limp Bizkit/Papa Roach and more punk/Gym Class Heroes/The Streets/Dizzee Rascal.)
I don't think I'll do a formal review for this album, but I recommend giving it a listen.
I'd also like to take this opportunity to also recommend a local Jax band [
Bed Destroyers ]. The boys Luke and Fin dramatically change sounds with each incarnation, and were previously known as Start Trouble and currently known as The Summer Obsession. Bed Destroyers is by far my favorite. Their whole album is available for free download on the website, and there's enough variance that you should really try about 4 or 5 before forming an opinion.
