Grandma died at age 95. She's already in the Philippines, so she's home. Don't know what the funeral plans are, but it was always sort of planned that her death would be good reason for a massive family reunion, what with being matriarch of the Dungca family.
My mom's currently out of state attending a class, so my dad said he didn't want me to tell my mom about it because he wanted to tell her himself. So OP friends, if you read this and see my mom, don't mention anything until maybe next week. Though, I think she said she was coming back home tomorrow.
When my dad called me, he was asking how to put together a slide-show with music. Now that's cake for me, and I've done it already for one of the other family elder's funeral, but I don't know if my dad can figure out the software, so that project might be on my plate.
This isn't a death for mourning. She lived a full life, raised two generations, and as far as I know, left no unfinished business in this world.
