Wowzers. I got a call early this afternoon that my iMac was ready to be picked up. I didin't ask any questions besides, "Really? Already?," so I wasn't all too certain they'd actually fixed it. Did they decide to not fix it for free? Did they just give me another one that was sitting around? ::Gasp:: Might they have upgraded me?
Nah, it turns out that they didn't need to send it out for service. They switched out the part in-store.
All's well again.
Incidentally, it seems the main logic board, according to my reciept, is warranted until February 3, 2007. Hmm...so does that mean if this confounded machine breaks again before that date, all I'll need to pay is labor? Okay.
