Train me? I'll train you.

I come into the training event today and Mike, the Media manager, tells me that it's not actually for video games; it's for service and replacement plans. But...he found our training materials. Err, some of our training materials and we seperated from the group. We were missing the DVD, so there was some sort of video footage we missed out on. I really want to meet the people who write our training materials. Some of it is just outright incorrect or maybe just based on outdated materials. Sure, we all call it the Wii-mote, but it's really the Wii Remote. And ethernet's not built-in, it's a seperate adapter. They also ditched the DVD playing ability. We basically covered all the consoles and PC gaming, but didn't get any useful info regarding actual launch details. We are opening a few hours early on both November 17 and 19, and it's presumed we'll only get one shipment of PS3's that will sell out instantly, and possibly another smaller shipment before the end of the year. Probably another more specific training closer to launch day(s). However, according to Albert, the Nintendo rep said we may be getting our Wii demo station as soon as the end of the month.

I'm about to drop some cash on eBay to import three Girls Aloud albums. Just located the video for their latest single "Something Kinda Ooooh," and it's just as fun and textured as the one album of theirs I've heard, which according to reviews is not even their best. Damn, this is catchy stuff! These ladies really need to break out in the US. They can hit several different markets including the general pop-listening public and the dance club scene. They really need more unified costuming and better dance lessons, though... These music videos are pretty boring aside from the music and all their alluring looks.
