Head to Toys R Us. Look in the video game section for a giant aluminum briefcase. The Intec Platiunum Pro Gamers Kit for Gamecube. For $4.54, not only do you get the giant case to haul your Gamecube around in, but you also get a controller, 59-block memory card, 6ft extension cord, and 6 game cases. OMG, great value. Actually, you might want to trade in the extras to Rhino; they'll likely only give you a buck for that stuff, but it'll be enough to pretty much make back what you spent on the slick aluminum case. Oddly enough, the PS2 version is still $42. People in other parts of the country are getting the case bundle for less, but I think even paying three times as much as them, it's a great value.
Anyone want a screen protector for their GBA SP? I bought a two-pack (that's all they were sold in), and I figure I only need one. I'm only asking a buck or two. Actually, anyone want this Gamecube controller/extension cord/memory card? Make me an offer. Unless you're not too lazy to snag the cool bundle yourself at Toys R Us.
I went to the third Target in the area to hunt down my [
Pac-Man ghost tee. ] The Ortega location only had two shirts, one Large and the other XXL. I figured this late in the game, Large is as good as I could do. Damn, these Pac-Man themed shirts always sell fast. I also picked up a SLacker shirt (the L being a guy sitting down with a joystick). I like the design of the similarly-drawn "Not now. I'm busy" tee, but I'm not much for those trendy "catchy-sayings" shirts. Also, I found a discount Pikachu! It's the one where you press the button on his back, he leans forward, ready to pounce and exclaims his name, as the Pokemon are like to do. I checked out the new Transformers Cybertron series, and I wish I had loads of cash for action figures. These are the best looking Transformers since the "Robots in Disguise" series.
Also, I bought Bomberman. Someone else needs to get a DS, so we can play some multiplayer mayhem!
