WoW Trial: Day 2
So this is Day 2 of the WoW 14 day trial (that cost me a whole 2 dollars).
At first I was a little pissed off because after installing 5gb of game files, the software then had the nerve to download and install another 400mb patch. A very big anti-climax after such a long install. Another hour later -- remember I have a pov PC -- the game finally began...
I selected the race "Night Elf" and molded a female character into what could only resemble a look-a-like of my girlfriend. After approx 1.5 hours of gameplay, I have killed about 50 roaming creatures, completed 3 quests and sent abuse to a couple of neighboring n00bs. It only took one hour for my girl to lose patience and tell me to bloody help her in the kitchen. But in that small amount of gameplay, I leveled up three times!... THREE! This means, I am now:
Level 4 !!@#$%^&*(
Somehow that number, although small and insignificant, feels very rewarding. The image of my character has stuck in my mind, and my subconscious appears to be chanting "Level 4, Level 4, why not Level 5?"
Could this be the beginning of the end? That is, the end of my social life?! Agggghhhh!!!!
