Oh lan parties how I've missed you.
I decided on a whim that I was going to attend Iron Storm 10 after discovering it 3 day before the event. The last lan party I was at took place in Texas so it's been far to long since I took part in such festivities. I ended up playing in 3 tournaments Quake 3, SSBB and Street Fighter 4. Both Quake 3 and SSBB I only joined because they announced they needed more people to play. I propmtly lost in the first round of both which wasn't much of a suprise. The SF4 tourney worked out much better for me I won all the way into the grand finals only to be beat twice by the losers bracket winner. So second place overall in SF4 was really nice considering how bad I thought I would do. I also found two of the other really good SF4 players live near me so now I have some local people to play.
