kent asked me if i could go anywhere within the U.S. for a vacation that we could afford, where would it be. honestly, i have no clue. after talking to amanda and cari so much about europe i have forgotten there are great places here to visit. i've always wanted to go new orleans, have since i was like 12, but thats kinda out of the question for now. i suggested providence to visit and stay with lindsey (help cut costs and get to spend time with lindsey), visit his bro in N.C., but he is leaving before we'd get a chance to take a vacation. i usually dont really want to go places that are known for their beaches, not the biggest beach fan, but im in the mood for that right now. could be because its FREAKING cold here. i dont know, i just havent really thought about traveling latley because its just been impossible. like trips that i could actually take for a week vs my dream vacations to greece and backpacking through europe for 3 months. i dont think i ever stop dreaming about those :-) but realistic trips? hmm, i will seriously have to consider this. heck i wouldnt mind just driving south on 75 for as long as we could stand it and staying at some hotel/motel/camping ground. ok, i got it. i wanna go to the west coast of MI and stay on lake michigan somewhere. that would be nice AND we could afford it. but providence is still a serious consideration lindsey, dont worry.
