High Tristan Alert!!!!
We are in the hospital. We stayed the night. Mattie has been having contractions non-stop. She is currently about 3.5cm and 75% effaced. We were told that the contractions are not doing enough "real" work. She's been hurting alot. For all that they are not doing real work they are certainly causing her real pain. They gave her a shot of morphine to ease the pain and let her sleep. If it was not real labor it was supposed to have stopped the contractions. She is still having contractions....
