(no subject)
So monday Mattie had me look at a a youtube movie of guys SCA fighting.
I was curious to see if there were other SCA fighting youtube vids. Low and behold... there are shitloads of them. Some are even of people fighting well. LOL And yes....now I am wanting to club people like little baby seals again. In the worst way.
*sigh* I have, however, sold my armor. Helmet, cuirass, shoulders, gorget, legs, and greaves. Small problem, I know. (Great opportunity to make the armor of my dreams!) LOL I also have to: do a fuckton of home improvements, sell my house, get a new job elsewhere east of here, and move.
LOL I've had the thought of showing up at a fighter practice wherever we move to and pretending to have never fought before and have them get me in loaner gear. That could be fun, but if Mattie goes with me she'll rat me out before I can pull it off. LOL Or I'll screw up and use a correct stance or something. It would be great to find that one guy in every shire that whooops hard on the newbs. Let him get a few in and then thrash him. Granted this might cause a little problem with first impressions, but....it would be funny. lol
