"Pardon me, thou bleeding piece of earth, that I am meek and gentle with these butchers."
-Shakespeare
Although I sit here alone, I hope that you have brought something of me along. Hemp thorns to me, a memory to you, a note I keep, to each we say adieu. I know you'll be scaling bark embossed heights, just two steps behind with the world in sight. I'm glad that we met even-though I find myself slightly crippled by your exit from my life. Thanks for shaking the ground just enough for me to find ballance.
I saw my sister and mother in the mirror today. As a kid I never really saw how I was in any way related to them in regard to looks. Today this is not so... Grace looks strung out, and mom, is in a whilrwin of confusion and shrugs when they are evoked fom the glass. I hope I see them before my reflection only reveals the passing of time before reunion.
good night room, good night chair, good night window, good night moon.
