This is a two-part post.
I'm still nursing the second part, which is tentatively called Why Fan Fiction Isn't Evil And Actually Makes People Appreciate Things They Didn't Like Before Reading It, So Suck It, Laurell K. Hamilton, or possibly I Concede: Kurt Hummel Isn't As Annoying As I Thought When I'd Only Seen Two Episodes of Glee At The Plasma Center. (As of 8/25, the second part is still in progress because I have too many feelings.)
So, uh, get your judgey faces on while you still can? Because this ship is like romance novels and ya lit and gay romcoms, aka every kind of delia!crack, and I have stopped being ashamed. I really like this ship, you guys.
The following fics made me clutch my Reader with hearts in my eyes - or with my heart in my throat because holy feels, Batman. A lot of them are surprisingly long, too, because this amazing tumblr put all the popular stories in ebook format, which, hello, is super convenient. My Sony's klainebows collection is starting to rival my harlequin or ya lit collections. (Yup, more klainebows than YA at this point. Good job making adult choices, Delia.)
I've probably read... three? four? times as much as what's included on this list - and it's in chronological order of when I read it, starting with the fic that gryffin_draco convinced me to read and started the binge a month ago. Yeah, I've read all this in under a month. And it's taken me three months to read The Fault in Our Stars. Whatever. But since it is Glee, a show about teenagers, it's frequently Baby's First Fandom and there is obviously a lot of fic out there that's of questionable (or eye-stabbingly awful) quality. So this a serious labor of love.
Seriously, my standards are high, guys. And there's a lot of fic to wade through in this ship.

I'm still nursing the second part, which is tentatively called Why Fan Fiction Isn't Evil And Actually Makes People Appreciate Things They Didn't Like Before Reading It, So Suck It, Laurell K. So, uh, get your judgey faces on while you still can? Because this ship is like romance novels and ya lit and gay romcoms, aka every kind of delia!crack, and I have stopped being ashamed. I really like this ship, you guys.
The following fics made me clutch my Reader with hearts in my eyes - or with my heart in my throat because holy feels, Batman. A lot of them are surprisingly long, too, because this amazing tumblr put all the popular stories in ebook format, which, hello, is super convenient. My Sony's klainebows collection is starting to rival my harlequin or ya lit collections. (Yup, more klainebows than YA at this point. Good job making adult choices, Delia.)
I've probably read... three? four? times as much as what's included on this list - and it's in chronological order of when I read it, starting with the fic that gryffin_draco convinced me to read and started the binge a month ago. Yeah, I've read all this in under a month. And it's taken me three months to read The Fault in Our Stars. Whatever. But since it is Glee, a show about teenagers, it's frequently Baby's First Fandom and there is obviously a lot of fic out there that's of questionable (or eye-stabbingly awful) quality. So this a serious labor of love.
Seriously, my standards are high, guys. And there's a lot of fic to wade through in this ship.
