when i go to my own journal, there are all these stupid advertisements to click on. i wonder if this is true for everyone. when i click on other people's journals, i dont see these advertisements. but when i am looking at my own, i do.

I bet they will slowly put them in all the different types of layouts. Your layout might be the first one they modified.

hmm weird; i see them in your and not mine too and i have a free account
i know that they started a new type of free account where you could get more pics and other special things that paid accounts have, but the deal is that you have adds for the extra stuff. they put the link to change to that account right on the front of the page next to something like the log in or something and i almost pressed it myself. perhaps you can check if they changed your type of free account... good luck

thanks...no i think that is what happened. i accidentally updated to a "plus" account, and it brought on tons of advertisements.
