Life and it's MANY surprises.
It's been, okay, FOREVER, since I last updated my LJ, so here comes that long awaited update. Since my last post, money got tight, we had to have our internet and cable disconnected, as well as our WoW accounts. Verizon screwed up our first bill, majorly. So I've been without net, and still am, however, it's looking up. I should have net back within the next month, month and a half TOPS.
You see, I get this really good job, working for Medicare and making $8.00 and hour, which could, if I get hired on permanently (got hired through a temp agency) go up to $10-$11.00 and hour. So, net and what not shouldn't be an issue soon. I start working tomorrow, and I"m looking forward to it. 40 hours a week, mon-fri 8am to 4:45pm, with probably an hour lunch break. What more could I ask for?
Well, I can answer that too. July 21st I was due to start my period again, but I didn't.... I waited, a week later still nothing... So I took an at home pregnancy test, and sure enough, it came up positive. I"m pregnant, and though it's a big surprise, and kind of a bombshell, I'll admit that we weren't necessarily ready for it, not financially or anything,.... Financially things seem to be falling into place so yay. I'm super happy. I'll know my due date on the.... haha ironicly enough, 21st of August.
