I just got 24 reviews yesterday.
...I know!
Imagine my surprise when I logged in to a message that said "You have 24 new messages." I thought at first that there was a mistake, like someone had sold my address to some serious spammers, or that someone on my alert list had updated a chapter 24 times. It took me a moment to realize the relation between 24 reviews and the 24 posted chapters of Rain Petals. Lawlz0rz. [Almost] Needless to say, they were all from the same person. And yes, I did reply to every last one of them. :D ...even the ones that weren't so mindlessly praising. [translation: criticism]
I even saved a screenshot of the page with 24 new "[FF Review Alert] Story: Rain Petals"s so I could look at it whenever I please. :D I'm such a dork. Or just narcissistic. XD
Anyway, yes, that is the most reviews I've ever gotten in one day (with a close second at 17 for the first chapter of "Well, This is Awkward." WTIA has it beat by far in the total, though, with 119 and counting for only four chapters, versus "Rain Petals" with 79 for 24 chapters.) This brings me a whole lot closer to my ideal goal of 100, though with only two chapters left, it still looks to be out of reach. But it's that much closer.
