Well, since my first ear piercing experience was so memorable, I figured I needed to post the latest edition to the saga.
I left my earrings out for about three weeks only to find out on Wednesday morning that my right ear-hole closed up (crap!!). I was trying to poke my earring through it to see if could force its way through, but it didn't work and just started bleeding. So, I got my Mom to look at it. As she tried to poke the earring through the hole, I breathing irregularly (like I did before I fainted at Claire's the first time), so I immediately sat down on the bathroom floor. Mom couldn't get the earring through, and I was freaking out too much to want to keep on trying... crap! On Thursday, Mom was cool enough to take me to Claire's (again...) to get my ear re-pierced. I was wiggin' out pretty bad, but the lady in the store was soooo nice. She told us this heart-warming story about her daughter making it to college despite of her blood disease. It was really cool. Well, she finally re-pierced my stupid ear. I am proud to report that I did not faint.
Anyway, I have had an amazing summer. I am sad to see it end, but I am definitely ready for a change of scenery. I am looking forward to moving back to the apartment and seeing all of my friends in Tallahassee. Leaving Matt is going to be rough, but I am confident that we are both following God's will. I have one more large youth event: Student Ministry Revival (or Ignite as Jeremy calls it). Wade Morris and Chris Orr will be the guest speaker and worship leader, and I am excited that I might be able to run Media Shout for them. It's going to be a crazy event.
