Three Day Celebration

Jul 02, 2006 23:20

I have turned 20. I like not being a teenager (haha, it doesn't sound like Matt has robbed the cradle anymore), and I guess I feel that I am on the brink of a new level of adulthood.

Anyway, I had a fantastic birthday. It was an amazing three day celebration. Matt took me out to Melting Pot on my actual birthday. He surprised me with the dinner choice and an amazing bouquet of roses. Wow, that was one great night. Then on Friday, we went to dinner at Horizen with my family and then hung out with a few folks over at Brandon's apartment. Saturday was my birthday party. Erin surprised the crap out of me with an iPod (generousity!!). Matt came over early to help make some baked goods. I had the most beautiful birthday cake ever. We didn't have as many people show up as I thought, but it was still a lot of fun. I have to say, I have the best boyfriend, family, and friends ever.

Things have been going pretty well. We're getting ready for Student Life Camp next week. I am really looking forward to it this year. There are a lot more people going that I know. It's already been planned: we're probably going to do an all-nighter and the guys (Matt, Ringl, Brandon, and Shaw) are going to grow out ugly mustaches for the first couple of days of camp. I really hope I get my camera back for this occasion!

Well, things are crazy as usual, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
