I'm alive! :-)
It's been quite a while since I've been on. I've finished my associates degree. *Big happy dance!!*
Winter hit me hard this year, so I stopped my schooling within the first two weeks of Fall term... better to take a break than get bad grades.
So I have a wee bit of a life. Catching up on housework slowly. Spending a lot of time with my partners, and with the kidlet, working on reconnecting after being away so much for school. The time away to school strained some things, with all my family and friends.
Reconnecting with myself too. I'm beginning to understand why a lot of people see college kids as selfish... you're concentrating so much on the next test, your homework, and getting everything done that it becomes your life. Especially when I was working full time, too. This last week, I'm beginning to look around, and notice life again...
My sincere appologies for not being around much. I'm proud of what I accomplished (my associates degree), but very sincerely miss everyone that I didn't contact for those many months.
I'm going to ask my housemates what they think of having a small holiday party... probably around the 16th or 17th of December. Does anyone know of other things in Portland that might conflict with that?
