“Geez. Spring break’s coming so fast. Dō sureba ii desu ka? (What should I do?) I still don’t have a boyfriend to hang out with. *sniff*”
Yamashita Michiko is rapidly getting annoyed by her bestfriend’s continuous complain about not having a boyfriend. “Miyako-chan, why don’t you try not having a boyfriend this break? Maybe something unexpected will happen to you. Just…try…you see.” With a smile, she tries to hide what she really feels.
“Sniff…sniff….” Miyako is getting teary by the second. Michiko asks, “Why are you crying?”
“I’ve spent so much on make-up…then…nobody will notice me and ask me to go out? Why is this happening to me?” she said as she is wiping a tear which shows no sign of falling from the inner corner of her left eye.
“Hm. Didn’t you say you have this someone you have a crush on? He came from 1-D right?”
“Ehhhh…” Miyako paused for a while. Then suddenly, “OH! YES! Michiko-chan, I have a favor to ask.”
“What is it?” Michiko can’t really resist her bestfriend’s puppy eyes.
“Just come!” Then Miyako pulled Michiko out of the classroom.
**************************
“Ano…Can I excuse Matsumoto-san?” Miyako asked loudly to the roudy male class.
Matsumoto can be obviously seen as they all looked at him. He was sitting beside the window with his bestfriend, both of them playing the guitar. He stood up, walked towards us, and talked.
“Miss, can I have your number?” Michiko was shocked. Matsumoto asked for HER number, not Miyako’s.
“Matsumoto-san, maybe you would want to ask for her number, not mine.” Emphasizing on ‘her’ while looking at Miyako.
“Why…” All of us looked at Miyako, whom afterwards, walked away. Miyako chased after her, cornering her on the corner next to the library.
“Miyako-chan, gomen ne.” Michiko wiped her bestfriend’s tears with her right hand. “You know what, Matsumoto-san just made a mistake, he admitted it to me just before I chased you. He said he thought that I was the one who excused him. I even heard him mumble that you are cute.”
“Honto?”
“Honto.”
“Michiko-chan! Arigatou ne! Shocks… I should get better with my make-up.” Michiko felt good seeing her friend smile again, although everything she said aren’t true.
“Then..Miyako, I have to go now. You see, my family is going to celebrate dad’s birthday. Bye, bye!”
Geez, I have to find a way to make Matsumoto-san message Miyako. What have I done?
********************
Matsumoto-san, even though we are still strangers, I have a small favor to ask. Please make up for offending Miyako this morning. Just text her a small ‘gomen’. Arigatou ne.
“Done!” Miyako looked at her note one more time. “Mm! Ganbatte!”The next afternoon, she made her way to room 1-D. There was no sign of Matsumoto, and there isn o sign of a roudy classroom. Sitting beside the window, peacefully, a guy was playing his guitar.
“Ano…”
The guy slowly looked towards Miyako. Uwa, why is he so perfect-looking? She shook herself from her thoughts. “Ano… do you know where Matsumoto-san is?”
“He left. Why?” The voice is…something. What is he? Miyako shook herself again.
“Um…can you please pass this note to him?” She walked towards the guy and reached out the note.
“Oh, you are the girl from before, the one Matsumoto asked the number from. Hah. Cute, eh?” The man got the note from Miyako, with a smile. A smile which Miyako thought was perfect.
“Well, then, ja ne.” Miyako said with a bow, then left.
The next day, Miyako ran towards Michiko who has just entered the school gate.
“Michiko-chan! Michiko-chan!” Miyako was panting.
“Why? Wh-what happened?”
“He…he me-messaged m-me!”
“Who?”
“Guy! The g-guy..you know.”
“Guy who? I do not…”
“MATSUMOTO JUN FROM CLASS 1D!”
“EH?” Hm. So that guy with the guitar passed it to him eh? “Good! I’m so happy for you!” They were now walking towards the classroom.
“He said that he is sorry and he admits his mistake. He even told me that he’d want to try to go out with me for the break!”
“EHHH?!” Then with that expression, a guy with blonde hair bumped Miyako. “G-gomen.” But the guy did not hear as it was walking so fast.
********************
Michiko went out of the classroom right after the dismissal bell to find her phone which she thinks she left in the library.
“Uwa… where is it?” Nearly giving up, she sat on one of the chairs. Then suddenly, a phone rang. With the ‘A.RA.SHI’ ringtone playing, she knew it was hers. She found it inserted in one of the row of books on the bookshelf.
“Moshi, moshi. Who is this?”
“Is this Michiko-chan?”
“Hai. Oh, by any chance, are you the founder of my phone?”
“Yes. Haha. You have a cute voice over the phone.”
“Who is this?”
“Hm. Let me think about it…..secret.”
“Eh? Well-“
“I’ll be calling you later. Ja.”
“Ya-“ Then the call ended. She checked her contacts to message Miyako that she already found her phone.
“EH? NO CONTACTS? Shiz….where are they?”
1 message received.
I am the only one left on your contacts list. If your friends really want to talk to you, they’ll contact you.
Eh, what’s with this guy? Michiko thought.

I'm back with a new fic! But this time, it's Arashi inclined. Fandoms changes eh?
