How would you like to spend your life?

At some point during our endless drive from New York yesterday I had an epiphany.

4chan and especially cgl has replaced public toilet stall walls and doors full of graffiti.

In "olden" days, kids and teens in scool would write their unfiltered opinions of others and the world on the doors and walls of toilets. "So and so did it with so and so", "So and so is a bitch", "So and so cheated in this test", "I hate so and so" etc. Anonymous, hurtful, desperate statements meant for the public, out of sheer spite, jealousy, envy and a compulsive need to gossip.

Cosplay is our high school, and cgl is the smelly public toilet full of anonymous graffiti scrawls.

So I ask everyone: In all honesty, how would you like to spend your days? Enjoying life and do something worthwhile with your time, or spend your life reading and writing on a toilet stall wall?

:)

EDIT: Despite what you guys may think, I have not visited the site, especially not after this weekend, but I have an idea of what a Pandora's box has been opened. My life is not affected by any of it (hell, I've had my most successful year so far!) But I see some of my friends upset and feel bad for them. While I'm not confident that this post will knock any sense into them, I felt like sharing the analogy simply for my amusement, and re-iterate the fact that I don't see any sense in adding to 4chan's pageview and value of the site. The more hits they get, the more money they make off of Advertisement spots.
You people really wanna get wrapped up in unnecessary meaningless drama, feel shitty AND make them rich at the same time?

MORE EDIT: To those friends who are/have been explaining their reasoning for visiting cgl - I think we'll have to agree to disagree sadly. I do not judge any of you, not in the least, but I will never understand you in this regard. Maybe you can't stand NOT knowing what is said about you, maybe you're morbidly curious, maybe if you read others say the worst, it makes you feel like a better person...But no matter what "positive" aspects (sense of matureness, pretty pics, advice) you get out of your visit, it will always feed negativity and fill you with it. Why on earth the sweetest ones of you need to feed on that and have it be part of your life, I will never fathom. I'm sorry...
